Found a pup 5 months old and at a great price!! Was wondering if anyone new anything about these bloodlines? Eik Des Deux Pottois, G'vitou Des Deux Pottois, Robin de la Fontaine du Buis, Halusetha's Igor, Kukay's Raissa, Othar de la Neaillerie, Arco Perle de Tourbiere, Elgos du Chemin de Plaines. Like I was saying the price is pretty cheap which kinda makes me leary so I wanted some info from people with knowledge of Malinois. Thanks any input or info appreciated. Thanks, Shane
I don't know about the bloodlines. Do you know what the last five months history is on this pup? Has there been imprinting work done at all. More importantly, have you done the selection puppy testing on this pup? It may be a great deal but it may be a big Sh@%t! Why is the pup for sale at five months? Take your time. See how the parents work. Find out who owns the other pups from the same litter.
Maybe I'm overly cautious. I just don't want to put hundreds of hours into pet quality pup.
I worked a seven month old Mal today. It was returned to the breeder. The litter was good. The litter mates are good dogs. This dog was a good biter when it was purchased. Now it is Shit. Why? Because it sat in someones apartment for five months and didn't work. Now it has to be restarted in bite work (maybe this pup is why I'm rambling). We introduced a sleeve just to see where he was at. He got excited but really didn't know what was supposed too do. That's it for know.
