Can any PB owners please tell me how they contain their dogs. Are they in kennels, chained up or running free? The reason I ask is because I've just been reading about their capability to vault a 6ft fence. Can anyone confirm that to be the case? If that were to happen to me, the cops would shoot her on site.
Yah some can jump but they don't always. When I met my husband he had two pitties and they could clear a six foot board on board fence like a deer. They came with us to work. Why not in runs?because they would chew the bottom of yes, chainlink. These dogs got tons of exercise too.Am I scareing you yet?I hope not,Pitts are awesome dogs,I can't say enough good things about them but they can be very high maintanence.Does the book say about climbing tree's,our male did it.I wish I could do the photo link thing on the computer because the pics are the best,we still have chuckles about it.Haveing said all this we have a few friends with Pitties and they have had no problems with fences, trees etc..others have, depends on the dogs.KEEP THEM BUSY!!
I truely hope that Andy's posts have been for comedic value only. This breed has enough PR problems without the addition of more ignorant owners.
But just for grins Andy...if you live in an area where police will shoot free running APBT on sight, how did you possibly obtain(or hope to keep) insurance?
Now, now boys. Let's try and play nice. If not, maybe you two should get together, compare, and then beat the snot out of one another. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Just had to get that in before a moderator slaps someone. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
