How can I tell if my GSD is 100% German Breed and not American?
I know the sire side is German, but on the damns side there is a question with the third generation.
How do I figure this out?
Keep in mind that I'm a newbie so this might be a vary obvious thing to many
Thanks

It's better to know everything about nothing than nothing about everthing.
I'm assuming that a SZ on the pedigree is German.
These two do not have that.
Kimbo Von Bischofsheim
Orla Vom Fleischerheim
They produced Britta Vom Fleischerheim who mated with Zito Vom BadenerLand which gave us Gus' mother.
His father is Jimbo Von Der Wienerau(grandson of Zamb and Jello)
Does this make sense?
It's better to know everything about nothing than nothing about everthing.
William Fleischer from California is the breeder for Fleischerheim. Kimbo is out of Tony Wienerau x Laika Nieulandshof. Zito is out of Zito Noriswand x Quena Badener-Land, both German. Orla is out of Vopo Kirschental x Jasmin Kahlenbergring. Britta is out of Kimbo x Orla.
Yayyyyy
Thanks for the info on Orla.
That was the only one I was having trouble finding info on.
So, I'm taking it that I have a 100% German breed dog, even though he was breed in the states?
Eeeeek I have so much learning to do! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

When I saw your post I looked up the breeders site. (Heck, what else do I have to do today <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )
I'm not a breeder but found it interesting they have a page that lists their dogs with reg. numbers and OFA results. (all their dogs?...well, one doesn't know that of course) But I thought it pretty neat! Wish more breeders would do that. http://www.fleischerheim.com/Fleischerheim%20OFA%20Results.htm
