Michael Taylor Rivers Webboard User Reg: 07-16-2001 Posts: 908 Loc: Florida Offline	It seems that USA is going to register litters from pups that are from parents that only have a B and a G rating in confirmation. Any idea's on this. The NE and SE USA web pages have the information on this matter.

We have quite a few registries in the US and United Schutzhund Clubs of America's breed advisory committee seems to think that this is the way to getting their share of the pie. I can see it now, "working litter" advertised when the only working qualification was a simple obedience program and a G rating in a german style show for a few generations. If USA wants to make an impact among working dog people they will have to institute a ZTP type of process and mandate that each region sponser such an event at least once per year. It would allow people to arrive with a set of x-rays and their potential breeding stock ande get evaluation on conformation and character. Something like the old DDR korung. A sort of one stop shopping for breeding qualifications so the numbers can be developed for a breeding program. K. Sheldahl http://k9services.com
