I am interested in finding stories of war dog heroes on the German side in WWII. Does anyone know where I can find a story or a link on this subject? Thank you.

I think you'd have to go to the SV for info like this. I myself have never seen more than a small blurb about the use of the GSD by the Germans in WWII, and I have a very strong military history background.
The German's as a people tend to be uncomfortable with talking about this period in their history and I doubt that you'll find any significant body of information regarding GSD use/deployment during the war.

Ask someone in Germany that cares. Nazi dogs, nice -F-ing topic scumbag. There were no "Nazi dogs", there were dogs that were used by the military and police of Germany. . .too bad the German government and the majority of the German people were responsible for some of the most heinous acts in human history. The dogs were innocent.
