Jim Janusek Webboard User Reg: 10-28-2003 Posts: 13 Loc: Offline	I have a female dutchie that is a BIG puller when we go for walks. She pulls to the point of choking herself but she continues to pull. Any tips on fixing this? Is it time for a prong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Then throw in some praise when she doesnt pull and when she is paying attention and sees you change direction. The dog will correct herself and will not choke the shit out of herself in the proccess. Just remember...if you never used one before...you don't need to yank the hell out of the leash. In most cases, the correction comes from the dog. If you need to give the leash a "pop" it will likely only be a quick short little snap of the wrist. Remember...with corrections the goal is always to use the mildest level needed to get the desired results and if the result desired is to get the dog to stop pulling when walking then very little action on your part will likely be needed.
