This site says they are: http://www.geocities.com/~amazondoc/albinism/. I can't find the other site that said they weren't. I also read that they rarely live pass 7 years. Anyone heard of this?
Yes, they are... they have pink skin, noses, and blue eyes. Most are very light sensative and the majority have other problems as well. (temperment, digestive.. etc)
I don't like white shepherds, but if I had to have one of the two I would take a white shepherd anyday over a white doberman.
I dont think so. I am not a fan of this type of GSD. I just temperment tested 3 of them yesterday and all had black noses and dark eyes.

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. - Edward Hoagland

I just don't understand why people would breed something like a white doberman, knowing that the dog will suffer severe health problems. I read the web site and to me it was just heart breaking to know how much the dogs truly suffered.
Kim : dobermans come in the Black, red, blue and fawn, which is known as Isabella and these have lost lots of there pigmentation with light eyes and light noses, and have come with weaknesses and delerioration of body and temprement . But now to white they are not white they do not have black or dark noses or eyes ,and most come with major health problems and the lack of pigmentation . But money talks and people that want them ,will keep the market open for white dobermans .Check our UDC for the information on White dobes .Peter
