IF the bitch came into heat as soon as she stopped nursing i.e. earliest of 4 weeks, and she was bred during that time it could happen that the litter would be born two months later in November.
The reason is I have a dog that was born 7 November 2000 on his pedigree, but the UK Kennel Club has a registration of a litter from his apparent mother for 4 August 2000. It appears my dogs pedigree isn't worth the paper its written on. I think I need to contact the Kennel Club to find out what is going on, thanks for the help. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
A little bit of genetic testing should be able to answer all of your questions. Hopefully the supposed mother is still alive to make things easier on you.
