My GSD female is 18 months. She doesn't have nerves of steel, but she's certainly no spookazoid. She gets along great with people and other dogs. We're working toward the Bh/SchI. Anyway, she has been coming into work with me at the university since I got her at 9 1/2 weeks. Last month, our secretary across the hall was reassigned and my roommate, reorganized the office, and moved in. My dog used to go into that office all the time when our secretary was there. Now, she won't go in very far past the doorway. She loves my roommate. I'm not too concerned that she "getover it" and go into the office, but am curious if anyone has any thoughts, clues, etc. to explain this behavior. Is it simply that she has no context in which to understand the changes in the room's appearance? Like going outside your house in the morning and realizing all the houses on the street were somehow different?
She must be sensing an evil spirit somehow tethered to both your roommate and the room. I'd suggest finding a good pet psychotic. . .er, wait. . .I mean psychic.
Get out your ouji board and a prong collar and do a little constructive channeling.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Just jokes, I don't know why she does that?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I remember getting some kindling wood late one night and putting them next to the fireplace.
Blue my GSD went into the lounge the next morning and really growled at this bag of wood.
Once I opened the bag and let him have a sniff he was O.K.
It was really funny but I think he knew that it wasn't there the night before and he wasn't happy about it.
Sometimes they are too smart for their own good <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
you said your roommate reorganized the office when she moved in would this include rearanging things like the furniture putting new things in there like plants, lamps, or other objects that were never there before???
