I have had two close friends in the KNOW tell me this years bundeseiger judging was off, maybe from all the heat over dog issues lately in Germany? who's to say? Do any of you agree with this?
I have been going to Sch events since 1974. The second most popular thing to do at Schutzhund events (right behind watching the dogs compete) is to bitch about the judges. In rare cases this is warranted.

The judging was VERY consistent and the same heat/pressure was put on all the dogs. I was sitting on the other side of the fence from the 6th blind.
Same on the OB; focus was on correct work, not flashly.
The practice blind work (into the 6th blind) from Anosch was not good. Dog ran into the 6th blind, looked and ran back out to the helper.
Very nice work by the 2 females on the German team: I was able to see the work by Quaste. Another nice one was from a HOT dog, female, at 8 yrs from Denmark. From the owner's own breeding as well.
