Pauline, no one is flaming you. There are a lot of passionate people with strong opinions in the dog world... and even a few smartarses...

I just personally see no reason to be breeding pets when there are PLENTY of pets out there. Maybe I am being to idealistic to think that we shouldn't be killing so many animals because after all "they are only dogs"...

Nationally 1 in 10 shelter dogs finds a home. Do you know what happens to the other 9... I do.

Caniche, the Quarter horse was the original "muscle car" of America. Bred for racing the streets, the quarter mile sprints, thus the name "quarter horse" Yes, it was also noted early on that they were calm horses with good cow sense, but even that wasn't the horses orignal purpose.

Pauline, of course we will all die, and my life may not make a difference to too many people, but to every dog that gets a second chance because someone listened to what I have had to say, I made a difference.

Good enough for me... You rarely hear of dogs going out and shooting humans for fun. The more I know of humans the more I like my dogs.

i will take my dogs over people any day. my dogs do not care what kind of car i drive or how big my bank account is.
