Hello Everyone:
I don't know if I am the only one but I get very frustrated when I do a search on the internet (usually on google) for various dogs or specific lines and 98% of the time I never find a kennel listing. I was wondering, is the internet as big in Europe as it is here in the USA?
While looking at some of the dogs that were registered on the USA Nationals page - I decided to try and look up some of the dogs from various kennels to get an idea of what's out there and to see how that dog is doing and I was shocked at how much information is not out there.
I have also tried to look up various kennel names of other dogs (Mals, GSD, RS) and found that there are much more GSD web pages, but most of them are show lines and not working lines - does anyone have any comment on this?
Regards,
-------
Brandon
I'm from the U.K. and in answer to your question regarding the internet I would say it is not used as much here in the U.K. The main reason is cost - about 2 years ago you had to pay for every minute you were on line - we ended up with horrendous phone bills of about £400 per quarter.
The good news is that things are now much improved and you can get on line for a fixed monthly fee. I would assume it would be the same in Europe.
Hell, we've had a business for 6 years and only got our web site up and running 2 months ago.
Gives you some idea <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
