I have a 3month old GSD and my neighbor has the brother. We have let the pups play together every day or so for short periods until the play turns too rough. My question is, will they continue to sort out the dominance issue to the point that it becomes dangerous to let them be together as they get larger, or will they learn to "get along". I guess that people naturally assume that since they were littermates they should get along but this is probably not true.
Not neccessary, the concept of brothers or sisters only mean something to humans, really. Birds push each other out of the nest sometimes.
Dogs unless you intervene will try to dominate each other. You must show them whats acceptable and whats not. I have three dogs, the like genders are always separated unless supervised.
They must be always supervised when at play as they get older they can get pretty rough, if you let them. So only in the rarest incidents does this work itself out, and I heard and seen in worst case sceniro an emergency trip to the vet or death. Watch them, train them and you will be alright, don't let them work things out.
I don't sleep much, so I check my mail and the board pretty often. Why, don't you like having someone to talk to on the board?

I'm sure they don't mind having SOMEONE to talk to, but I don't think the SOMEONE they had in mind was you!
Had to get in a quick last stab before I start my trip.
