When I was looking for good dog food, the only brand that is available is Pedigree for puppies "20 Kg for 18$", but some shop had a limited quantity of Iams for puppies "2 lb for 11$" I bought the whole quantity which I am still feeding my pups from, but I am anticipating that I will run off within another two months max. I have also a two year GSD imported from South Africa who is on pedigree Dry Food, but I feel it is not his favorite food, he would rather the Iams dry food any time. Also I was advised to feed the dogs raw meat, I tried to search more information on the net, and seems it is 50/50 opinionated, some says nothing better to feed the GSD, and others stated that it is the worst you can do. However, I introduced the lean meat with occasional cheap ribs bones, and to my surprise, the dogs loved it like no tomorrow, since I am still feeding my puppies three meals/times a day, I introduced the fresh raw meat on one meal every two days, and the result was, dogs loved it, filler body, nice coat, firmer stool etc.)
