I think he's the third guy I've heard who calls himself "Dogman". Anyway, I spoke to him about doing some tune-up bite work with my PPD. He told me it would be $300 just for him to look at my dog. I told him no thanks. He had said that he's a former NY cop. The guy came across over the phone as "in your face", know it all, pushy and super arrogant. Other than that I'm sure he's a real sweetheart. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Anybody know anything about him? Like, is he any good?
Actually, Dave "the Dogman" for the Central Florida east coast area is an excellent decoy for PPD - very, very, good ( and I *rarely* say that )
I've only seen his decoy work ( and video's - he's actually a top notch video guy, he should really be doing that for a living, in my opinion ) so I can't tell you about his ability to train dogs.
But as a decoy for real world scenario's, he's good.
Let me clarify. I have worked my dog with Dave Smith, aka "The Dogman". I think he is a good decoy, trainer, a heck of a nice guy and is very reasonable price wise. The "Dogman" who wanted $300 just to look at my dog is another story.
