I am a Fugitive Recovery Agent in Albany, New York. I am looking for a K9 Training School in my area or near by states. I have a new GSD Argo he's one year old and ready to start a program with more structure. I have my older partner Riley a 3 year old GSD I did all his training with the local PD's but, this is maintance training for the other patrol dogs and it takes up alot of time on everyone training. What this new partner is going to be used for is Tracking Fugtives, Room Clearing, Apprehensions and Protection of me and other team members. I don't have to worry about Narcotics or Explosives.Because our agency is not Law Enforcement I can not go through the NY State programs for police officers and K9's or other LE Programs even though I train and work with them.I currently use the KATS Program to keep all records on both dogs for future use if needed for court etc.
If anyone knows of a real good training center could you let me know. I have done alot of foundation work with him using all of Ed's training tapes.
