I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post, so feel free, as I know you will, to move it if necessary. It says on Leerburg's website that the Hol-ee Roller is great for teething puppies. On the Pet Smart site it says it's not intended to be a chew toy. I'm leaning toward what Ed says, but why would they say that if it is for teething? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Both sites are correct! The hol-ee roller is NOT a 'chew' toy. It's like almost all toys for our GSD's, not really recommended to hand to your dog UNSUPERVISED to chew, destroy, eat, and maybe have a problem when the pieces get into the digestive system.
That said it's a GREAT 'toy' to use to interactively play WITH your puppy or adult dog. They are amazingly tough even as a tug toy for an adult GSD, let alone a puppy. Because it is a soft rubber our it's a bit easier on a teething pup.
That help?
