I have a 2yr old APBT that has had an 8wk course but I recently decided that I would take an interest in working with and training the dogs myself. I also have a 1 1/2 yr old and a 10wk old pup who have had no exposure and will be starting the training on these 2 and wold like to continue the older dog. All of these APBTs have a good to high (in my opinion) prey drive so that foundation is easy to build on. Any pointers seems how I am new to this? I'm starting from scratch with 2 out of the 3 and will start at the beginning with the older one too to make sure everything is set in stone. Where to start? Which video is the best for the very beginning?
Protection... I do okay with obedience since I've owned dogs since I was bout 6 yrs old. Mostly German Shephards at first but APBTs for the past 10yrs.
