Dennis and others asked to keep posting the progress of my latest pup Fontaine d'Or Neeka about every couple of months. This is her since the imprinting days of the little kiddie pool. Today was her first time ever seeing the palm fronds. To make sure it wasn't to much for her i tested her around them, and she could have cared less about them, so here she is my future ASR bitch.
Great Vid I'm not sure I could be my own helper. Is there a risk of her wanting to play and your not quite ready? I already had "Erika" miss the tug and get my hand, ouch
yeah she was going nuts on the other end, my training buddy was helping me (my daughter) by holding the leash. My daughter knows when to let her go, basically when I tell Neeka the bite command. To answer your question yes, I'd say there is definatly a risk of that, LOL!! Plus, at this age I prefer not to have the pup, at a sit or down/stay waiting for the command. I have seen it really tone down a lively pup, and later on the dog looses a little intensity. This young, I do OB one day, and bite work the next, and I don't mix OB in the bitework yet. When I let her do bitework, I let her be the beast she wants to be.
Jeff,
LOL!!, I know it does the same thing to me when you click on play video, you have to click on the link under that that says, Direct link to Neeka&Palm Fronds and is highlighted in blue. Then give it a second to load.
It gave me the broken film thing. Thats it I am becomeing ungodly rich and visiting everyone at once and geting all the dang film I want. O.K. I have lost my mind I am going to sleep. This sucks
