Going out in the AM to meet with some members of the SchH club here and my question is this...
I tend to get very nervous when I meet new people, should I leave Gunther at home tomorrow and just meet everyone first, or take him with me and see what he is like with a nervous mother?
If I do not take him tomorrow they will be meeting again on Thursday and I can take him then. I am anxious to see how he does with a helper since I have had great results with him here with me.
Just as a reminder, he is just turning 9 months old. No big hurry.
I would leave him home if you think that you will be nervous. I wouldn't want him to associate the place with your nerves. Get to know some people and watch the routine so you aren't worrying about the dog while you keep an eye on what they are doing.
If you can't be a Good Example, then You'll just have to Serve as a Horrible Warning. Catherine Aird.
I had decided not to take him until talking to my friend who is a FR decoy last night. He suggested that since I will be nervous in a trial too that this would be a good way to see how he reacts to me being stressed, but since trial time is a long way off for me I really don't see where it is going to benefit either of us. I am going to go with my original gut feeling and leave him home. Thanks again.
