my five year old is now due for her shots. I am confused on what to do. I told them I don't want to do lime , lepto or giardia. They tell me I need to. We live in the country have open water that they drink have lots of ticks ( frontline pluss keeps them very free of them). I try to explain some of the reasons not to that I have read hear but they give me conflicting info and still recomend doing them. I have great respect for my vet and staff. I am on a plan that covers all shots so it doesn't make them any more money to do them. What shots should I do and should they be done on the same day? Please give me your opinions on this issue as I need help. Just want to do what is best for the dog. Thank you all.

Does your plan also cover titers? If so, do that, as opposed to giving the shots. Titer testing measures the number of antibodies the dog has against the diseases you would be vaccinating against. If those levels are high enough, the vaccine is not necessary.
