I was reading, but the source did not go into detail, on new Federal Regulations of civilan drug dog and the industry. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Other than a DEA license to possess Scheduled drugs, I wasn't aware the Feds had any regulations on training. I do know that for the first time in the 20 or so years I"ve had a DEA license this is the first time they've questioned the amount of drugs I keep in stock, particularly Heroin and Cocaine, for training materials. Do you recall what CFR was referenced concerning regulations. Being a State agency I don't have to be concerned but I do like to keep abreast.
