About Cesar Millan “books” -- There is one book, not yet published, due out in April of 2006 .
Also there is a book all over the web called “Beyond a Whisper,” purportedly written by Cesar Millan, released in July 2005.
Because I had pre-ordered the “real” book, I was taken aback when I saw these ads for a book out now. I could not get an image of the cover, either, on any of the sites selling this expensive hardcover book.
So I emailed his site and received a reply today.
The reply from his web site (I quote): There is only one Cesar book, currently entitled "Cesar's Way," to be published by Crown books in April 2006.

Do you ever go to the local video store and see movies with almost the same title as a big name blockbuster ( the difference being the one with the slightly different name sucks )
Same concept applies here.....

I guess I didn't realize that people got away with this. I knew about pirating and illegal copying........Well, my eyes are opened more today. His own response was calm, like yours; I guess I'd better wake up and look around.

I just got a reply to my angry email to a site selling the book. In part, it said not to order it, and that it did indeed appear (I quote) : There is a slight possibility that there is a book by another person named Cesar
Millan, but the date of publication of the book (July 2005) and the book's title indicate to me something unethical is afoot. END
It goes on to say the site is making contact with Cesar Millan, and will let me know what they find out about the apparently fake book.
