My 14 weeks old Yorkshire Terrier puppy is extremally mouthy. She bites all the time, when walking outside, picking her up, petting her, etc. Please HELP ME!
A behavior that is ignored goes away. If you squeal and dance around when she bites your feet, it is rewarding her. Try bitter apple. It tastes nasty. I would get the cream and put it on your shoe laces, or wherever the little demon bites. Put it on old shoes, put them on, and let her figure it out.

Excellent advice about not giving excited attention to unwanted behavior. Also, consistent deep firm NO. Just one word.......no involved explanations. (Sorry if you already know this; an amazing number of puppy-owners explain things to dogs, using the same tone for "good dog" as for "NO" and accompanying it all with details.)

Let me help you out with the biggest issue here. Little dogs are bred for cute only. No attention to their temperament. Thus you have extremely dominant little jerks that the level of correction you have to give to get a response is crazy. I am almost ready to give up training these little horrors. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Make sure you really pile on that bitter apple!!!
