He is talking about teaching the commands in the sequential order that he posted. I used a version of this when I pattern trained dogs. I feel that if you have a system/pattern that fits the way you train, then you should use it. The order you wrote does make sense to me. I am much more scatter-brained then in the past, so I don't use a version of this at all. I should probably go back
Whew.....thanks. I didn't dare say "What?", figuring I was missing some totally obvious thread!
Now I dare: "HUH??"
And here I sit thinking I had written in perfectly good (and clear) English! Two out of four got it, though...hmmm....50%...hmmm...
Re phrasing...do you train "sit" before "here"...why? or "sit", "down", "stand" before "here" and "bring"? I could write more iterations...but hopefully now you get the point.
I think this is an interesting question. I would appreciate some training...and enriching replies...based on building solid foundations for later performance.

OH! Duh........ I missed the part about sequence.
I train here or come first because I get the most secure feeling about having that solid before anything else. However, I am always training adults (until, if all goes well, September!), so others with pup-training experience are much better sources. Also, see this basic obedience thread: http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/4142498/an/0/page/0#4142498
