Thank you all for the very quick advice. Very much appreciated. She will be seeing a Vet ASAP even if I have to take her to a different vet.
We bought her to serve as a family companion that would protect us if need be. To learn how to best handler her and learn her true capabilities I have enrolled in a training course but I have no plans on showing or working her at this time. Just loving her. I did pay the extra expense to ensure she was a solid dog. I expect nothing less.

She's a Showline, NOT a working line & NOT a working dog. Let me guess, she's Black & Tan (with reddish tint)? Her sire received an U rating at the 2002 BSZS (National GSD Show). An U rating means Unsatisfactory (show or performance rating), since he's V rated I would assume it was in the performance part of the event.
She is going to be fine... she has a vaginal infection and they put her on antibiotics. She is going back on Friday for a repeat testing to see if the AB is doing the job.
She is a very attentive obedient dog… I hope her jumpiness is just related to her acclimation and infection. I love her already.
