ok we have a 14 month old APBT female , who has not had a first heat,(she could of had a silent one) but they vet said not to worry about it and if she has't had a heat when she is TWO then she'll do some tests. whats your thoughts about this?
How do you know that she didn't have her first heat? Second, are you planning on breeding or spaying or neither? APBT sometimes mature slowly and that could be why she hasn't yet.

i know she did't have a 'visable' heat ie.swelling, bleeding ect.so the vet said she could of had a silent heat. i dont have any plans of breeding now, but either way i cant spay her a she is a show dog.....
