Hi i have a gsd two years old today he has been food trained since 6weeks old on all kinds of treats which he never refused now he will not take any treats while trainig heel work i have cut his food back to a minimum but he still will not focus or take the treats any ideas Tom
Tom, I suggest you start your own thread - you will get more responses that way.
If you do start your own thread(I recommend it) could you answer the following questions for some more background:
Has he never taken treats during heel work? Has be been trained to heel previously/how? Are you teaching or working him under distraction(where)? Have you recently introduced corrections or been using them more while doing heel work? Is he just too distracted or does he not want to work?
