I have three puppies that at the last minute the potential ownwers neglected to pick up?.
What is the best thing for me to do witth them. They are 3 beautiful mixed shepherd females. I have read the leerburg article on n ot keeping two puppies especially if they are from the same litter. They will get to doggie to train. If I just want them round I do not necessarily see the point in training the puppies since I live in the coun try with twelve acres of land. I read that eventhough they can supervisionaly play together they need their own pens for they will fight over wwho is the alpha?.
I was thinking of maybe keeping all 3 puppies in differnt pens? What is your opinion?.
Been there, done that. I have three littermates. It is not easy. Simple things like housebreaking were a downright chore. Feeding time works because I took the time to train them. They get fed with seperate dishes all in the same room at the same time, not an easy thing to do with five dogs. Everyone knows to eat from their dish and when done they go outside to relieve themselves. In your situation feeding time, play time and exercise time will be times 3. I would reconsider if I were you.
