I have a dog that is 2 years old and recently I have noticed that he is having trouble seeing out of his left eye and things placed on the ground. We are going to the vet tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea what would cause this? He has had no obvious injury to his head or eyes. His eyes look normal. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Home of SAR dog:
Erk Vom Powell-Haus CGC, 3 year old male GSD
Bayani vom Wildhaus, 10 month old female,co-owned with her breeder
At the bridge, Ax CGC, male dalmatian http://www.geocities.com/lugnut514532000/index.html
What breed of dog do you have? If it is a GSD I would be concerned about Pannus. It's very common in this breed. If you go to http://www.eyevet.org it has a detailed description of this disease among tons of other eye problems. It's a great web site on eyes. Let us know what the vet says.
