A while ago I had made a post about the lack of titles with this breed. Well, looks like at least a few are being worked and getting the titles needed to help establish this breed as a more authentic working dog.
The owners posted plenty of pictures where you could actually see the level that the dogs worked at - a real nice touch, in my opinion. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'll even leave out my usual "Ohh..it was a WDA trial" joke and just say a real congratulations to this kennel and the dog's owners. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Nice job, guys!
HOW THE HECK DO YOU FIND THIS STUFF!!!!!!!!??????? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Hehe...I'll always retract when I'm proven wrong, and I'm glad to supply evidence when I find it ( someone sent me a nice note to my website with this link and I told them that I'd post the site ).
And again, I was particularly impressed by the good quality photo's that they had of those dogs working, it was very easy to judge their work by those.
I still don't think that this breed is a good choice as a ppd though, as I still haven't seen any evidence that they'll actually defend their owners, but maybe time will prove me wrong. Until then, my recommendations for a serious ppd remain a high quality Mal or GSD, with *very* rare exceptions for other breeds.
Thanks for the post...we are very proud of thier accomplishments. These were all USA trials...SchH I-USA Judge: Mike Hamilton; SchH II-USA Judge: Nathaniel Roque.
