I just found out there is no agility.. or very little.... in schutzhund? Why? does somebody know what is agility called here...
Examples: jump to retrieve dumbell
jumps 180 cm tall
jump tall 2 meters( i am not sure if this is the right name)
2 meter tall 30 cm wide "bridge" and so on?
Is there a different name? Am I missing something?
Thank you
The "agility" part of schutzhund is during the obedience phase. The dog is required to retrieve a dumbell thrown over a 1 meter hurdle and then also over a 2 meter "A" frame wall. These excercises are similar to the exercises in ZVV. But in schutzhund, there is no "bridge walk" and no jumping over a "A" frame while heeling.
Ring sport (and I believe KNPV) has various other "agility" exercises, such as jumping over a 2.5 meter "straight" wall, and jumping over a "palisade"(similar to a long jump).
