yes i know this is going to sound odd as i ask it, sounds sorta silly to me to but im curious..My female had a litter of pups in April, and she was a wonderful mother, she has always been a friendly dog, gets along well with other animals etc, my question is( as odd as it seems) My neice has been bringing her puppy to our home alot lately, this puppy is only 5 weeks old as the breeder let the puppies go early because the mother was mean to them, even going so far as killing a couple when they were about 4 weeks old.... my female had a heat cycle in September( about first week) so was close to october when it ended, But thursday night she was in our kitchen with this puppy which she acts like is hers, cleaning, guarding etc and we noticed she had started to bleed again( only been two months since last heat)I cant for the life of me figure why her cycles are messed up, could it possibly because of the way she is with the pup? going as far as even trying to nurse him which she cant as she has no milk, Any answers would be appreciatd, And thank you.
