Michael Ellis on The Use of Pharmaceuticals for Behavior Issues

Uploaded on March 21, 2022 • 2 min

In this clip, Michael Ellis gives his thoughts on using psychiatric pharmaceutical drugs on dogs suffering from severe behavior issues relating to separation anxiety, reactivity, OCD, and other similar behavior issues. It is important to note that psychiatric drugs can have adverse side effects, especially with long-term use. The best way to utilize these kinds of drugs for your dog is to use them in conjunction with a training plan to re-condition and modify your dog's behavior.
