I have a 6 year old female great dane. I was told their pelvic area starts to close around age 6 and a c-section would probably be needed. What do you think?

I have a 6 year old female great dane and wanted to know if in your opinion she is too old to be bred. I have been breeding for over 15 years and have never bred a bitch over 5. But I've been reading your website and there are plenty of people that do. I was told their pelvic area starts to close around age 6 and a c-section would probably be needed. What do you think?
