jessie mary weeks Webboard User Reg: 01-27-2006 Posts: 2 Loc: alabama Offline	i have a 15 month golden. we taught her to sit stay down stay,does great with the down stay while we are watching ty,eating in kitchen. i now know i didnot keek my homework uo because i have noticed she wont sit and stay she keeps moving toward me. i put the lead on and the prong collor on. do i need to tie the lead

Elizabeth Stewar Webboard User Reg: 06-04-2008 Posts: 23 Loc: Oklahoma Offline	I have the DVD which I love, however I still have a few questions- I have been working with my 1 year old dog on sit and he know what it means- he just doesn't seem to STAY sitting- I can't walk away w/out him following me. Is this where he needs a correction to stay sitting until I tell him otherwise? How do I make the transition from standing next to him and the ideas shown in the video to actually moving away from him w/out him following me? I do have an electronic collar available.

Elizabeth, it would be good to start your own thread. There are great suggestions for this, but we need to have them in your own thread with an appropriate title.
