Ok .. Ok.. here's the story.. I was working my friends's pitball (Cheba) on the puppy tug (one that I got off the auction a while ago); and my mal when crazy.. He WANTED A BITE.. I told my friend to let him loose and he took a bite on the sleeve.. And boy was there action.. They went on tugging and fighting for the tug for almost 25 mins..Eventually my pup got tired, gave a few last growls and let go.. The thing I noticed was that the sleeve had blood on it. "Just found out that my pup actually began teething"..
NOTE>> Please don't do this with your friends' dogs.. I KNOW the pit since she was a puppy.. She's got a great temperment. Don't blame me if you did this with your dog and the other dog "regrips" on YOURS...
I should note that the person who filmed the fight was someone who I didn't know.. I just happened to take the vid from him.. If anyone understands arabic you'll know what's being said..
John, I saw the fight. My bet was on your mal . Was either dog trying to take it away from the other? That's a long time, 25 minutes, to play tug of war with a toy, especially if one is a puppy.
He's one tuff little bugger !
He was very calm little to no growling. The thing was he just help from start till finish the same grip. Whereas the PIT regripped numerous times.. I'll try to shoot a video "AFTER" Adolf is done teething..HMM.. I'm willing to bet that HE'll win
If you are going to do any kind of protection work or sport in the future, you should stop doing all this now before you ruin your dog grip, drive and everything else.

I knew someone would come out and say this.. but..
I don't see what you're seeing wrong.. For sure this is not a "training method" that I'm using.. It just happend to have happened. and was caught on tape. My dog didn't get to grip this hard by tugging with "Dogs". I train his drive with balls and tugs.. I'm not too concerned, Right Now, on the grip as much as his drive.. Anyways.. all comments are welcomed.
