Is there any shell fish or fish in general that is "NOT" healthy for a dog? Oyster's for example? I see people using Salmon oil but haven't noticed anyone mentioning actually feeding a dog Salmon or Tuna.
Are canned veggies ok or is it better to grind up raw veggies like broccoli, and string green beans? Are apples and oranges ok or do these things have too much sugar in them?
There are a million different types of vitimans and nutritional supplements out there so "HOW MUCH" is too much when supplementing these things. I mean can't a person over do it with the vitimans, and antioxidants, etc. if you're feeding a premimum kibble. "Chicken Soup" along with raw chicken backs from time to time.
I live on the Central Coast of California. We have a lot of commercial fishing boats that, depending on the season, bring salmon and albacore tuna. I feed my dogs raw tuna and salmon. They love it and it's a healthy addition to their raw diet. The last I looked, the Leerburg site had a lot of good information on raw feeding which Ed Frawley advocates. Good luck in your search. I have found that raw feeding will give you brilliantly healthy dogs.
