Need your input on this one. Chaos is a little over 17 mo. This all started quite some time ago though. He has a little bit of an aggression issue when people that have a dog with them come up to me to talk etc. It's like he has his own little space and he doesn't want another dog invading it! For instance, I took him to a TDI testing just after he turned a year old. Needless to say, he flunked on the meet and greet! He started growling, and then lunged at the other dog. We were excused from the testing. They said he could test again at another time, if he could get that under control. Any ideas? It still happens occationally, but not as often as before. I have no idea if I am sending signals down the leash or not! Another instance. We were at a softball game sitting there quietly watching the game. A friend was sitting next to me. His son came up behind him and put a puppy in his lap over the top of the chair. Out of no where, Chaos leaped up and jumped on top of Kenny and tried to get the puppy! I literally tackled Chaos and sat on him until he submitted to me and wouldn't let him up until I had my say. I sure tons of people around there thought I was being mean to him, but I just can't have this going on. He has been really good at obedience class lately and greeting dogs nicely. If you all can help me here and give me some advice on this and how to get him out of it, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
