Hi. Not sure where this belongs but, my 3 month doberman has been thrusting his dog bed on occasion for a couple weeks. He doesn't do it all the time, but I see it on a regular basis. I guess I'm surprised to see something like this so early in his life.
Is this a sign of anything I need to be concerned with? I've just ignored it so far.

My dog does this with his bed...always after he eats
In his case it's not dominance and he doesn't ever try this with a person. From what I've read and understood this sort of behavior with a person might be considered dominant behavior and shouldn't be allowed.
Whatever the reason I verbally correct him when he does it.
I had a litter of 4 rescues, and one of the pups at 3 months of age would hump every other dog all the time. I always put a stop to it but he always did this. He found a new home at 4 months and I dont know if he stopped, but I have his littermate (now 5 months) who never does this.
Point of my story being that your dog is not the only 3-month-old who does this, I was shocked too! And this puppy was neutered to boot.
