My dog recently started doing something strange and I was wondering if anyone else has a dog that does this. My dog will sometimes grip the side of the teeter board between his dewclaw and paw on descent. Sometimes he uses both feet, but usually he uses the foot opposite me. My classmates and instructor get a great deal of amusement (good natured of course) watching us over the teeter. Unfortunately, I do not have a photograph yet, but I hope to get one after the snow/mud season ends and I can practice regularly again.
My dog bindi does this when she grabs cody's head and cleans his ears. My husband and I were just talking how funny it is! It is like she uses her paws as hands. She has quite a grip!
I too look forward to a video!
