I already have the tri-tronics sport ecollar and I don't like the way it's setup for using it for two dogs. You have to change the switch to the other collar, change the setting to that dog. It seems like it's a pain in the ass. And besides the 2nd dog keeps chewing on the collar and now it's not working the way it used to, blinking green and red, and not wanting to turn off.
I'm looking at the Dogtra 1902 collar. It looks like there are two sepperate buttons. One for dog 1 and one for dog 2. But wondering if you can have two different settings for the dogs at the same time? When both dogs are focusing on a rabbit in the yard and are chasing after it, I need a way to to nick them both at the same time w/o fubbling with the remote.
I have the Dogtra 3502 which has the separate buttons for each dog. I have also used the 1502 which you have to switch, by flicking a switch, between dogs. The 3502 is great because you can give either stim or vibrate to both dogs at the same time. However, the stim setting for both dogs is the same and you cannot have different settings for each button. Another difference is that to switch from nick to constant, if you ever needed to do so, is done using the switch rather than having separate buttons. I can say that I like the ability to stim both dogs at once rather than having to switch between them.
