Falcon was standing on his place a few moments ago waiting for me to take him outside before going to bed... Roxy, my old "tough as nails" cat walked out from the hallway thinking he was already outside...
Falcon began to bolt but in that split second caught himself as I got out an "AHHHHHH!". He stood there looking at Roxy, then he SAT when I said "SIT", then downed when I said down, and although I had to say it twice, looked when I said look the second time - all within 7 - 8' feet of the cat.
Happy dance, happy dance! (Not that I'd trust him for a moment alone with her, but at least we have good progress!!!)

I have three cats...Roger is fine with two, thier kinda like fixed ornaments in the house, but the siamese that runs around at 60 miles per hour, we are still working on that!
Wow, that is superb, Barbara. See, eventually it DOES take hold!
Now, if you could just have a conversation with our current rescue Akita/GSP who chased the outdoor cat about 30 feet up into the tree yesterday morning just as I was leaving for work?
After climbing the tree, getting all scratched up by branches, I headed off to work drenched in sweat, but still hearing my wife's "thank you, thank you, thank you."
Indoors, our guy is doing great with most of the cats, though his OB is nowhere near your dogs.... It's that dang outside cat...he's waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too tempting.
Well done, Barbara!
A dog has alot of friends because he wags his tail instead of his mouth.
Oh man, climbing a fence, in a suit on the way to work would not get anyone's day off to a good start! It IS good to see Falcon making progress, but I'm not sure a running cat outside would not also get chased up a tree....
