I see we are still missing some regulars.

I'm wondering if traffic is down, also, because it can still take quite a while for pages to load? I have Verizon Fios, which is really fast, and sometimes when I try to view the forums it either takes a long time, or once in a while times out and never loads. It's better most of the time than it was in the beginning, but sometimes I don't have the time to view many posts because it takes so long.
There used to be a setting so the signatures were excluded from your displayed messages. That seems to have gone away.
Now, we get to wait while the browser
contacts each place where each poster's photo is stored,
requests that photo
waits for that photo to be located on that hosting system and then served
download that data
formats and displays each photo for the twenty or so messages on a displayed thread page.
Since, by convention, browsers will only open a couple of connections at a time, this can take a bit of time for a photo-heavy page. Browsers do that to prevent a malicious site launching thousands of connections from a single page. It's called a denial of service attack and is used to overload a server to the point it won't function anymore.
Some of these photos can be pretty large -- not everyone is adept at resizing a photo to a minimal file size.
If you are browsing on an smart phone with a data limited plan, all those cute dog photos add up against your bandwidth limit.
I'd like to see that 'exclude signatures' setting come back.

copied from another thread so I can Bobbie's issues more or less in one spot:

As to the speed issue, MOST things are working very fast for me, but certain things like trying to get to the discussion board from the home page or trying to get to the main forum list from anywhere can still be pretty slow for me (but not all the time, so again, maybe it's a problem on my end). Sometimes, the only way I can get to the forum is to use my browser history and click on the last time I was there to take me back.
I agree that loading this board from either the main LB site or from my home page can still be very slow, as is going to PMs.
