When we bring the boys home filthy, and it's often not just dust, we say they've been out 4x4'ing.
I've got a picture of Vince that has him looking like a totally black shepherd and he's got quite of bit of tan normally. I could probably dig it up.
We got one of a friend's little Malti-poo something or other too. Was pure white when she was dropped off for the day. Almost pure black in the pictures. We got her cleaned up for the ride home. Her mom thought it was great that she got to be a dog for the day. Nothing a little soap and water didn't take care of.
Rare...hee hee...me thinks not.
Gotta love a dirty dog. I love it when their faces come up all dirty too. For some reason it's just so darn cute to me.
I say you should definitely dig that one up and the Maltie-poo. I like the breed actually, I used to know a few who were carefully bred from nice show quality Maltese and toy poodles. They had nice coats, came in all colors too and great temperaments.
I loved how Logan looked grey/silver and his face was clean so had had a black mask.
I had a beautiful Chow-setter cross and she would roll in anything horrible. Well one day she had been out to potty and wanted back in, I just let her in not thinking anything. She walked into the living room to find a cushion to plant herself on and my mom called her to her lap. She was sitting on her lap, my mom was petting her beautiful luxurious ruff saying sweet things to the sweet little baby. Well that was suddenly broken with "What IS that???" LMAO
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
Just for you Tresa. Gosh I'm not going to do that again. We've got no less than a million pictures and these were taken last year. I love looking at pictures but that was a couple of hours and searching for specific ones is no fun.
Note to self - name things properly when uploading.
So this is what he normally looks like, fairly clean.
And I must not have got her completely covered or they're in a different batch of pictures we took when we got home, just can't search anymore. You'll have to trust me on this one. She's well on her way here though:
Muddy, dusty and dirty, yes.... But oh so happy!
Love the photos Tresa and CJ!
This is a tad unrelated but what the heck, I'll share it.
We are already heating up here in Texas.
This last week I spent a big part of the day scrubbing our pool.
Lots of pollen and algae not to mention leaves and debris.
I had just put in healthy dose of algicide. Kaia my female decided she wanted to take her first swim of the season!
She is part Lab in how much she loves to swim, but terrible timing with the added chemicals.
