This is my sisters half Chihuahua and I was wondering what the other half might be... She is changing her coat from the malnourished fuzz and getting a darker shinier one. She is a total nut but really fun.
Could just be questionably bred chihuahua....they come in all sorts of shapes now...People just breed whatever small dog that looks sort of chihuahua in there now...
but if you're looking for other possible breeds maybe Toy fox terrier?
No, I really doubt there could be any Toy Fox. Perhaps rat terrier? Or it could be a poorly bred Chihuahua. My friends have one (found on the streets in OC) that we're pretty sure has some IG in him but this one does not appear to have that in him.
My Pinker is part chihuahua and I see that in the short nose and dome head. Papillons have ears that stick out to the side, the long haired ones anyway.
Some italian greyhounds have that color and coat, and an IG ear crossed with chihuahua could look that way.

Edit reason: thought of IG
The more I look the more I see IG.
They are nice dogs. Sweet, playful. Great food drive. Smarter than you might think. Sight hound mind. Their ears often look just like that when they are little, the ears fold with time.
