So my new addition is only 8 weeks old and he is already getting aggressive when I give attention to my other dogs. How is this possible in an eight week old puppy? Not to mention the attemts at humping, which I know is a dominance issue. I am dealing with these issues immediately but I'm blown away by this little pup that is half the size of my other two dogs! Any advice?
In my experience male pups hump all the time and it rarely has anything to do with dominance. They lack impulse control, are testing boundaries, and need to be distracted away from the behavior because it's basically like a 3 year old screaming for attention.
How is he behaving aggressively when you're giving the adult dogs attention?

An 8 week old puppy is an infant. I wouldn't read anything into what they do much more than random bursts of figuring out he has a body. Just consistently re-direct him to an appropriate behavior. Puppies can be a pest to older dogs, and you don't want the other dog to be put into a position of having to correct the pup.
No matter where he is or what he is doing (sleeping, chewing) he will leave his activity and attack the other dog when I am giving her attention. He has the presence of mind not to do this with my other GSD but he will do it wth Bella who is the playful one in the family. I dont hear major agression but he is frustrated and yaps and snaps and jumps up on her then he will come back to me and lay down between my legs..
I diligently keep an eye on any play time, I'm always right in the mix and never let things escalate to the point of the older dog having to correct, still, I have never seen anything like this pup! He is so attached to me already I dont even have to have a leash on him for potty training as he never leaves my side.
sounds kinda like my Ivan and Sheba although hes 4 months and shes 5 years...shes very passive and puts up with him kibnda like a see me mom and im the special one thing...she will occasionally but him in his place and he will submit with no harm done to either dog...he is Czech and very dominate,,not agrresive there is a difference..
