I received this from a K9 handler (Steve Ward) in NY today 12/22 04.
On behalf of the Southern tier police Canine association, we would like to put out or Sympathy to officer Dave Hock of the Gowanda, and Springville N.Y. police departments.
In the evening Hours of December 21st 2004 Officer Hocks Canine partner Kilo was Hit and Killed By a motorist who refused to stop and fled the scene. The only description officer Hock could give was a Dark collored Minivan. That left the roadway striking K-9 Kilo and Killing him almost instantly. any support for officer Hock would be appreciated. K-9 Kilo was a 4 year old Belgian Malanois that was trained for patrol and Narcotics.please send any cards or support to either department listed below.
