Dr Andy Whitehurst Webboard User Reg: 04-24-2002 Posts: 78 Loc: Offline	Hi, Anyone have a similar problem? After we come back from an evening walk, my Bull has bites all over her. They don't seem to bother her, but because she has such a fine coat, it looks a little unsightly to say the least. Any suggestions? Repellant 4 dogs?

adam brill Webboard User Reg: 12-05-2001 Posts: 79 Loc: Offline	I would tend to guess they aren't mosquito bites, but allergic bumps. pretty common in APBT's, my dog had them on and off as a pup-treated with antihistamines. I could never determine the specific cause of them, other than being outdoors in hot weather.

My daughter's pit gets a very mild version of them. As Adam said, they are pretty common in Pitts. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

She is white and has very short hair. We think the bumbs from the bites are just easy to see because she has little hair to cover them up. We do not leave her outside for long periods at night in the summer
