She did say she had had some contact with the MWD program and that she would have someone else she could get me in touch with if she was unable to assist. I think she was pretty irritated that I was asking so many questions about her background and experience with working dog breeds as she's one of the only people in town with behaviorist training, but I hope she didn't take it personally.
You found her weak spot, and she knows it. She'll get over it if (a) she's sincerely interested in helping dog owners, and (b) she wants to get paid. She's a paid "professional", so don't lose any sleep over her feelings. You are obviously (to me, anyway) trying everything you can think of to help your dog.
Not surprised that alpha rolls don't work. IMHO and experience, IF/WHEN they do work, they create an overly submissive dog, which can possibly also lead to avoidance.
Sounds like you have a truly mouthy pup who's definitely going through teething. It's unfortunate that you are his favorite teething ring. Keep redirecting. If he struggles against having his mouth held shut, try locking him between your knees so you can hold on. He hopefully will decide that that's no fun, and find something else to expend his energy on.
It sounds like you're determined, so I say keep workin' it, girl.
